Linear Function by Table of Values

The table of values of a linear function is useful if you need to draw the graph of this function. This table contains selected $x$ and $y$ coordinates of individual points. If you connect these points, you get the graph of the associated function.

Procedure - drawing the function

Draw the points from the value table into a coordinate system.
Connect the points by a line.
Obtain the graph of a linear function by extending the line.
