A Circular Economy

In a Circular Economy -which is based on the principles of Cradle to Cradle- no waste is produced but goods (e.g. after they have stopped working) are taken apart into their different materials which then can be reused again.

As you can see in the video, consumer goods can serve as "food" for a new product in the biological cycle or the technical cycle. Products in the biological cycle include biodegradable packaging, cleaning agents and natural fibers. Products of the technical cycle are for example electrical goods and flooring.
