For example, set $t=\{0;1;2;3;4\}$ and calculate the corresponding $y$-values. Other numbers for $t$ are also admitted.

So we have the point $A(0|3)$.

So we have the point $B(1|3.5)$.

So we have the point $C(2|4)$.

So we have the point $D(3|4.5)$.

So we have the point $E(4|5)$.

Draw the points A, B, C, D and E in a coordinate system.

$\Rightarrow$All points lie on a common line. This line has the equation $y=\frac{t}{2}+3$

Calculate when the $x$ and $y$ coordinates have the same value.

Set $y$ equal to $t$ for this.

$t=y$

Replace $y$ by the term ${\displaystyle \frac{t}{2}}+3$.

$\Rightarrow$The $x$ - and $y$ - coordinates have the same value when $t=6$. The corresponding point is $P\left(6|6\right)$.
